Welcome to Build Your Village – an online platform designed to support new parents by connecting them with trusted suppliers offering services and products especially valuable during the postpartum period.

By using our website, purchasing a gift card, or accessing our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Build Your Village Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the website and online marketplace that connects new parents ("users", "you") with third-party service and product providers ("suppliers").

2. Platform Purpose

Our platform allows:

  • New parents to discover, book, or purchase postpartum-related services and products.

  • Friends and family to support new parents by purchasing a Build Your Village gift card, redeemable across our partner suppliers.

We act as a facilitator between users and suppliers, but we do not directly provide the goods or services listed.

3. Gift Card Terms

  • Gift cards are valid for 24 months (2 years) from the date of purchase.

  • They can be redeemed on any available service or product listed on our platform.

  • Unused balances will not be refunded but may be applied to future purchases within the validity period.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced unless required by law.

  • Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.

  • Expired gift cards cannot be used or reissued.

4. Suppliers and Services

  • All services and products are offered by independent suppliers.

  • We do not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of any offering.

  • Booking and purchasing from a supplier may be subject to their individual terms, which you are responsible for reviewing before committing.

  • We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions with suppliers.

5. User Responsibilities

By using our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Use the gift card and services in accordance with these Terms.

  • Refrain from unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity on the platform.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Refunds or cancellations for bookings or purchases are subject to the supplier’s individual policy.

  • Build Your Village does not process refunds for supplier transactions unless required by law.

  • In the event of supplier non-performance or dispute, we may assist in resolving the issue but are not liable for outcomes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform or gift cards.

  • Our total liability in any matter related to the platform is limited to the amount paid by you (if any) to us in the previous 12 months.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform (excluding supplier content) is owned by Build Your Village or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of our platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the laws of England and Wales.
